A cryptocurrency wallet is a software or a physical device which stores your cryptocurrency and contains the public and private keys needed to access your funds on the given blockchain.
A cryptocurrency wallet allows you to send and receive cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. A wallet is needed when converting your fiat funds into crypto via a service provider so that we know where to send your newly bought cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency wallets come in many forms, from hardware wallets to mobile apps and each wallet type has different levels of security, reliability, usability etc.
It means that our customers have to have their own external wallet in order to be able to purchase cryptocurrency.
A wallet address is a string of letters and numbers, with no spaces or symbols from which cryptocurrencies can be sent to and from. Each wallet address is unique and there is no other wallet address like it. It is the unique identifier for your account on the blockchain similar to a bank account number.
It should be noted that digital currency has its corresponding chain, make sure to choose the right one. For example, USDT has trc20 and erc20, and the address must be the address of the corresponding chain.
